The 2024/25 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Super Six Playoffs are set to kick off on Saturday in Ikenne, with an exciting opening match between Naija Ratels and Nasarawa Amazons. In their most recent league encounter, Nasarawa Amazons dominated Naija Ratels with a resounding 5–0 victory, setting the stage for what promises to be an intense rematch.

Later on matchday one, the South-South derby will see Bayelsa Queens face off against Rivers Angels. Both teams progressed from Group B, with Bayelsa Queens edging out Rivers Angels 1–0 in their last clash at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa.

Defending champions Edo Queens will conclude the day's fixtures against the host team, Remo Stars Ladies. Edo Queens had previously secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Remo Stars in their last meeting in Ikenne.

The team with the highest points at the end of the Super Six Playoffs will be crowned league champions and earn the right to represent Nigeria at the WAFU-B Women’s Champions League qualifiers in Côte d'Ivoire. Past champions of the NWFL include Rivers Angels (2021), Bayelsa Queens (2022), Delta Queens (2023), and the current title holders, Edo Queens (2024).
